Dr. Phillips's work focuses exclusively on Orthopedic Medical Device Product Liability cases. He helps other attorneys more quickly and accurately define the nature and extent of design and manufacturing defects in Orthopedic Medical Devices. Dr. Phillips's role as a Plaintiff's Product Liability Attorney ranges from helping the clients of his own firm, to assisting other law firms across the nation.
For the past two years the majority of Dr. Phillips's work has centered on hip replacement devices with alternate bearings (metal-on-metal; ceramic-on-ceramic and ceramic-on-metal). The current focus of Dr. Phillips's work is on metal-on-metal (MOM) hip replacement and hip implants with large diameter heads (LDH) and neck/taper modular junction problems.
The area of alternate bearing technology and modular taper junction failure is developing rapidly and for this reason Dr. Phillips has decided to dedicate the majority of his work to this topic and to implants with these problems. Dr. Phillips is not currently accepting non-orthopedic product liability cases.
